Comentário ao Monday Night RAW por Guilty Pleasure
- A RAW começa e Triple H é a pessoa mais over na arena. Claro. Eu também prefiro um tipo já longe dos seus melhores anos, que raramente se equipa para lutar e mesmo assim quando o faz vence todas as adversidades e ainda por cima tem uma marreta, que é uma coisa super badass, a um tipo que parece um politico demagógico a prometer mudança mas que só sabe queixar-se de tudo e depois perde.
"So here's the formula for what WWE is doing right now: (1) Give you big match with heel (HHH) going over. (2) Heel forms faction and throws everything but the kitchen sink at babyface. (3) Babyface finally gets come-uppance at WrestleMania.
The problem is, this is HHH we're dealing with, so here's how I imagine it really happened and will happen. This is all speculation. (1) Nash unable to wrestle. HHH casually suggests he take his place, knowing working with Punk good for him. Says he'll put Punk over. (2) Uses Nash's ineptitude to slowly undermine Punk and casually throws out that maybe HHH should go over. Says it'll mean more that way when Punk finally wins.
The quote we heard a time or two, if I'm not mistaken, is "I really want to make this kid." The faction formation gives you some stuff to work with in the longterm - babyface build is all about the "thrill of the chase," after all.
The goal, ultimately, is to make the up-and-coming baby look inept and never get the win back. Or, baby'll rise above the BS and the return match will be huge $. That's the carrot he dangles. Rarely happens. He knows that. But HHH already got his win."
Parece que tinha razão. Atenção, Triple H ainda pode fazer um heel turn que levará a um rematch com Punk na Wrestlemania, apesar de achar que nesta altura já seria provavelmente um swerve a la Russo. O problema é que agora o mal já está feito. A personagem rebelde e contra o sistema já não é assim contra o sistema contra isso. Se querem fazer t-shirts novas convém não fazerem o vosso novo anti-herói perder toda a credibilidade.
- A questão do titulo. Cena retêm contra Del Rio e Punk ou o titulo muda de mãos pela 8ª vez nos últimos 2 meses? Nenhuma das hipóteses me parece espectacular. Porque teve Del Rio o titulo afinal? Para despachar o MITB?
- Os dois Sin Caras. Se o objectivo era confundir o publico, então parabéns à WWE:

- A storyline principal do show trouxe mais uma vez muitas questões e poucas respostas. NWO com Nash, Miz e R-Truth? Quem são os verdadeiros heels nisto tudo afinal? E de qualquer forma, havia necessidade de fazer os Awesome Truth, Main Event Heels (supostamente), tão mansinhos a beijar o cu ao COO deitando arrependimento por todos os poros? Se a ideia deste show é que o HHH é superior a toda a gente, então faz sentido.
- Confesso que quando soube que o Guest Host era Hugh Jackman não gostei nada. Acho que estamos no meio de storylines demasiado importantes para se dar tempo de antena a elementos exteriores. No entanto, Hugh Jackman foi fantástico nos seus segmentos e contribui para um programa que, do ponto de vista do entretenimento, foi bom.
