Mesmo sem ter nenhum combate anunciado, o show conjunto da Ring of Honor e da New Japan Pro Wrestling no dia 17 de Maio no Hammerstein Ballroom, Manhattan Center em New York City já está esgotado com 2600 bilhetes vendidos. A Ring of Honor já anunciou que irá mudar a configuração da arena para tentar vender mais ingressos.

A Ring of Honor anunciou esta semana o primeiro nome da New Japan a estar no evento e este é o IWGP Heavyweight Champion, “Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada.

A Ring Honor tem obtido em 2014 excelentes assistências, tendo esgotado já as gravações de TV que aconteceram no Nashville State Fairgrounds em Janeiro, o Wrestling’s Finest no David L. Lawrence Convention Center em Pittsburgh, PA, e o show de sexta-feira passada também teve assistência esgotada com 700 pessoas. No show do dia seguinte no Frontier Fieldhouse em Chicago, Illinois a assistência foi de 800 pessoas.

Chase Owens venceu Ricky Morton no evento da NWA Smoky Mountain na Volunteer High Schoolem Church Hill, Tennessee para conquistar o seu terceiro NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship.

O lutador da Ring of Honor, “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin esteve presente num AMA (Ask Me Anything) no Reddit. Eis os highlights:

On whether he got a WWE tryout: I was not asked to the tryout. [I'd] probably go to WWE, it’s the goal of all wrestlers eventually, but I still have a lot I still want to do. I want to become ROH World Champion, wrestle in NJPW and then maybe WWE.

His thoughts on wrestling right now: I think that wrestling as a whole is on the upswing for sure. I really don’t see to many changes. I think that WWE has been doing good with signing Indy talent. At the end of the day it’s the people who have a passion and have given everything to become a wrestler that will in turn make a company money.

If he never got to join WWE, would he stay in ROH or join TNA: More than likely stay with ROH, they treat me well and have a great product.

A CZW anunciou que o combate de despedida de Drake Younger da promotora acontecerá no Best of the Best 13 que acontecerá no dia 12 de Abril. Relembra-se que Younger ira em Maio rumar à WWE.

Depois da confusão que aconteceu com o cancelamento do show da Extreme Rising no dia 1 e no mesmo dia Stevie Richards ter perdido o Extreme Rising Championship para Luke Hawx num show da ECWA, durante a semana a Extreme Rising veio a público anunciar que a mudança de título não aconteceu e o combate foi sem ter o título em jogo.

No próximo final de semana acontece o maior torneio de wrestling em solo europeu o 16 Carat Gold 2014 da promotora alemã Westside Xtreme Wrestling. Eis o alinhamento do torneio que acontecerá entre 14 e 16 de Março
