AJ Styles continua nas bocas do mundo do wrestling devido ao seu finisher, o styles clash. No mês passado, AJ partiu o pescoço ao ex-WWE YoshiTatsu num PPV da New Japan Pro Wrestling. Esta semana, Styles voltou a botchar o move durante a World Tag League num combate contra Satoshi Kojima. Nas imagens seguintes é visível a forma como Kojima não sofre o move da forma correcta mas não sofreu qualquer lesão.
Recorde-se que neste ano de 2014, a lista de incidentes com este finisher de Styles já vai longa onde para além de YoshiTatsu e Satoshi Kojima, Roderick Strong e Lionheart sofreram lesões depois de AJ ter aplicado o finisher.

Foi reportado que o lutador independente Uhaa Nation tinha impressionado os oficiais da WWE num tryout realizado em Novembro no centro de treinos da WWE. Os rumores apontavam que Nation estava perto de assinar contrato com a WWE.
Uhaa Nation esteve presente este fim-de-semana nos shows conjuntos da ROH com a Preston City Wrestling no Reino Unido e falava-se no backstage dos shows que o lutador estava a caminho da WWE. Contudo, Nation derrotou Chris Masters para conquistar o PCW Title e não é comum os lutadores que estão a caminho da WWE conquistarem títulos, o normal é perderem-nos.
